March 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):SAB TV’s evergreen show F.I.R will soon have a cameo performance by veteran actor Rakesh Bedi.
In his long career, Bedi has done many a memorable role but the actor is best remembered as ‘Dilruba Uncle’ of ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’ fame. Viewers will get to see shades of Dilruba in Bedi’s cameo in F.I.R.
Informs a source, “Rakesh Bedi will soon be essaying some roles in F.I.R. One of them is on the line of Dilruba Uncle, the character played by Bedi in Shrimaan Shrimati. He has shot for two such schedules and the shoot for the next track is still going on.”
Bedi confirms the news, “I am going to essay different characters in F.I.R. These characters are very dear to me. I have shoot for two schedules and the producer wants me to do more episodes. However, I don’t think it’s possible. We are shooting for the pilot of SAB TV’s upcoming show tentatively titled as ‘Chal Chanchal Chal’ and if approved, we will start shooting for the same soon,”
Chal Chanchal chal can wait, for now viewers would want to see Dilruba Uncle.
