February 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): For past couple of weeks, the entire Tamil film fraternity is going through a tumultuous phase. It all started with actor Ajith Kumar’s rant that actors are being forced to attend social and political events. Now, just a couple of days ago V.C. Guhanathan slammed Ajith Kumar saying an actor must abide by rules implemented by councils.

Apparently, Sarath Kumar and Radha Ravi, who are executive members of Nadigar Sangam stated that no actors should be offended by other associations when there’s a council meant for handling internal issues.

To put an end to this issue from getting complicated further, the members of producers’ council and Actors’ Association have now decided to compromise with each other so as to avoid furthermore confrontations.

This morning the producers council executive members Rama Narayanan, Hansraj Saxena, Muralidharan, editor Mohan and few others have gathered for a meeting and their resolution would be shortly announced to media channels.
