February 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Naman Shaw and Jay Bhanushali are one of the few best buddy pairs from the industry, and the handsome twosome got naughty and crazy when they took a trip to Bangkok recently. How exactly, you ask? Well, the duo surely had a good time in ‘player’s paradise’ by taking advantage of their fame to have some innocent fun, which not only went down in their memories forever, but also helped them save a few bucks.
“Jay and I had decided to make this holiday a ‘budget trip’, wherein where would spend as little money as possible,” says Naman with that trademark smile of his. “One would think it’s not possible, as after all, money talks, right? But we actually ended up having great fun because of it.” When asked to elaborate, the boys revealed with a twinkle in their eyes how they would look out for good Indian food and end up getting it for free! “Well, we would approach any Indian person or family to ask about some Indian restaurant around, and we knew they would recognize us. So, when they identified us they would be more than happy to invite us to have food with them, which was not only good for us, but also free of cost!” says Naman naughtily.
And that’s not all. Naman further reminisces about what an amazing and unforgettable trip this had been. “We enjoyed a lot! We went for bungee jumping, water sports, sea food, and of course… the free meals on which we survived for days. Seriously, we lived it up!” chuckles Naman.
Well, the handsome actors definitely know how to have a good time and party… and that too on a budget! Thanks to all those Indian fans of the actors who helped make their trip memorable. As for their naughtiness, what can one say…. boys will be boys after all!
