On 26th February 2010, the second battle is going to take place between Big b’s Teen Patti and Farhan Akhtar’s Karthik Calling Karthik. Last month Rann and Ishqiya clashed at the box-office. Both movies are set to release on Friday.
All the ingredients that have made Amitabh Bachchan’s films such big hits, TEEN PATTI is sure to make its mark in history too.
Both the movies are modernistic and was directed by new-age filmmakers, Leena Yadav for ‘Teen Patti’ and Vijay Lalwani for ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’.
‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, directed by Vijay Lalwani, is a story of an introvert called Karthik, played by Farhan Akhtar, whose life changes with the help of someone who also claims to be Karthik. It is a journey of this man’s victory against all odds. Deepika Padukone plays a pivotal role in the film.
And the highlights of ‘Teen Patti’ are well known where Amitabh Bachchan is a mathematician, wearing cheap clothes, ill-fitted trousers, checked cotton shirts and an old watch. All these things are bought from Mumbai’s Chor Bazaar.
