February 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Ananya has been chosen for Major Ravi’s film, ‘Kandahar’.
It was earlier rumoured that Amitabh Bachchan would be playing an important role in the film. ‘Kandahar’, which is about the ‘Kandahar’ hijack, stars Mohanlal opposite Ananya. Mohanlal will be seen playing a commando.
The actress shot to fame with her Tamil film, ‘Nadodigal’.
