Telugu star Siddharth, who was seen in Rakeysh Mira’s Rang De Basanti, is moving to Mumbai from Hyderabad to do more Bollywood films. He is, at present, looking for a home and his co-stars from RDB, Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and Kunal Kapoor, are helping him out.
He has confirmed this news stating that he is looking for a house near Bandra or Juhu to be close to the film fraternity but hasn’t found anything satisfactory yet. When asked about why he’s moving to Mumbai almost four years after Rang De Basanti came out, he replies that he didn’t turn to Bollywood then because he had only just become a star in Telugu films after struggling a lot. So he had to work there for a while and even turn down a lot of Bollywood offers.
He also believes that Rang De Basanti was a very different film that comes just once. Doing another Hindi film after it would have been tough. He had to first establish himself as a solo actor and he is relying on his upcoming film Striker to do that. And now that he’s here, he will be doing many Hindi films.
