Director Siddhique’s comeback Malayalam film Bodyguard is said to have already created enough problems for all those associated with the film. The film was in the making for quite some time has and has upset the release schedules and shooting plans of many of his films. That’s the reason why he was without any good film other than Passenger.
The movie which was shot for over 100 days has already exceeded the budget due to many breaks in shooting, unavailability of dates from lead stars and multiple schedules. However, the movie is finally complete and was censored this week with a clean ‘U’ certificate. As per the trade analysts Bodyguard carries good pre-release talks and good marketing therefore, will ensure a hit for Dileep.
But there’s some more trouble around the corner Bodyguard is scheduled to release on January 22 and another Dileep starrer Aagathan directed by Kamal is also scheduled for the same day. Now the star and his supporters are trying to push the release date of 'Aagathan' to at least a couple of weeks after Bodyguard
