Ananthkumar, BJP MP from Bangalore, suggested a film city in Mysore and Bengaluru at the shraddhanjali held for Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Dr Ashwath and Chandulal Jain. The Chief Minister has agreed to this idea and has given his word for looking for land for the project.
He also said that he would like to hold discussions with those from the film industry. Ananthkumar suggested that the film cities should be named after the departed Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Dr. Rajkumar. These film cities will try and match up to Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City.
