Dhanush is keeping busy and is neck down in work as he’s shooting for three projects simultaneously. The actor has completed filming talkie portions for Vetiramaaran’s ‘Aadukalam’ and remake of ‘Maapillai’.
Meanwhile, his other film ‘Ready’ has already started rolling in Chennai. The movie was launched yesterday with fanfare in a huge bungalow, which is located near the East Coast Road with film’s crew and few celebrities of Kollywood gracing over the occasion.
T.R. Varadarajan switched on the camera with producer Ram Kumar giving the first clap. Jawahar Mithran, who earlier worked with Dhanush in ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Kutty’, directs the film.
The Tamil remake of ‘Ready’ is yet to be titled and Genelia D’ Souza stars opposite Dhanush as the female lead. Playing the same part in Tamil will be relatively easier, as Genelia had earlier played the same character in the very well received Telugu version.
Mohan Appa Rao and Ramesh Thaandra of Balaji Studios Pvt. Ltd produce the film.
